I don't understand what all the fuss is about. Durmstrang has never allowed Muggleborns within it's walls. It's time that Hogwarts co-operated not only with it's own Ministry but with the attitudes and beliefs of other schools.

These journals should be taken away from muggleborns as well, I don't want to give them any opportunity to siphon magic from those who deserve it.

I'm not sure why at all I was nervous about that job interview, what with all the recent vacancies at St. Mungo's they really do require a few more people to work there. I have always kept my licenses up to date, even though I wasn't practicing and I am exceptionally glad that I did.

I begin working there on Monday, and I couldn't be more thrilled. To be entirely honest, I think it quite shameful that so many people left their jobs after the introduction of the new policies. I think it's a terrible thing to put protest over people's health! I hope they enjoy being unemployed over the holidays, as was their choice.

I received a letter from my husband today. He was reassigned ~~to the Ukraine~~ to look into some foreign policies. Left without a word to me, his wife of ten years, and now I see why. It turns out that he's shacked up with some woman. I don't know for sure, but I'm about ready to go ahead and assume that the 'shacking up' happened before the transfer and he's just too much of a coward to actually confront me about any of it.

Sweetheart, exactly when was it that being a purist meant being a bigotted, unsubtle moron lacking all decorum? I ask only because of certain things I have come across in journals--I never thought my beliefs were meant to be just some....tactic prostituted out for attention. Am I wrong?

My husband wants to take me on a trip to Florence, after I insisted on Milan he called off the entire idea of a vacation in a huff. Poor dear, I do think that he's working much too hard at the Ministry. To be perfectly honest, I think the Auror office works most of it's poor employees too hard. It's such an important job that one would think the Ministry would want their Aurors well-rested, happy and alert--not miserable, over-worked and strained.

I think they're absolutely under-appreciated, and not nearly as respected by the public as they should be. They are brilliant men and woman who make such sacrifices to help better the Magical World for all of us--I think--more than anyone else in the Ministry. They keep us safe, and safe from the Muggles. I really do think they should be celebrated.
